5 Problems That Often Occur on Computers

A computer is a tool that can help you do your work so that it can be done faster. Whether office work, homework for school children, and other jobs that need the help of this electronic device. Electronic devices are still not free from problems and these problems can hinder your work. The following are some of the most common computer problems.

  1. Blue screen
Windows users must be familiar with the term Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) or better known as the blue screen. Surely you will not like it if your computer has this experience, because a blue screen is a sign that there is a problem with your computer software or hardware.
Blue Screen itself is a situation where your computer screen turns blue with writing that you don’t understand, unless you are good at computers. Usually blue screens can occur for several reasons; errors in hardware, driver software installation errors can even be caused by viruses.
  2. Dead pixel
“Dead Pixel” or “Dot Pixel” or “Defective Pixel” or simply known as “dot” is a term used for problems that occur on the LCD screen, which refers to a defect in the form of a dot (dot) on the screen.
This type of damage is due to a problem with the transistor because each subpixel is represented by a transistor that fires a basic color image, and when one of the transistors has a problem, the image will be biased causing a dead pixel.
  3. Stuck pixel
Just like dead pixels, stuck pixels are problems that occur on LCD computer screens. What is a stuck pixel? Stuck pixels are a situation where there is a problem with color dots on your computer screen, be they red, yellow, blue dots or mixed colors like green orange. This problem causes the screen pixel to become stuck or inoperable.
Like dead pixels, there are also several causes of stuck pixels, including collisions, sudden changes in temperature around the LCD matrix, magnetic fields, hardware faults or it could be due to a decrease in LCD quality due to age and use.
  4. Hang
One of the most common problems with computers is a computer that suddenly cannot be moved or used anymore or more often referred to as hang.
Hang indicates the position or state of the computer that freezes suddenly, where the mouse or keyboard does not respond to commands and cannot be operated so that the computer cannot be used. Hang can happen at any time, even when you are doing the simplest things using a computer.
There are several causes of hangs, including; CPU overheating, hard disk problems, viruses, and many others.
  5. Hard disk bad sectors
Bad sectors on a hard disk means that there are parts, segments or sectors on the hard disk that are damaged or have problems so that they cannot respond to read or write commands.
There are two types of bad sector problems, namely irreparable physical damage and irreparable damage to software.
The cause of the bad sector itself is usually an unstable electric voltage, too long use of the computer or frequent interruptions of electricity when the computer is being used suddenly.
